Bill:FD HR 1249 - Common Sense Nutrition Disclosure Act of 2013
Summary:Would amend the federal law to include the following provisions: a)calorie information can be displayed on a remote-access menu, instead of a menu board; b) calorie labeling for pizza by the slice, as opposed to whole-pizza labeling; c) flexibility in providing calorie information for variable food items,e.g. pizza with toppings; d) calorie information can be delivered either via ranges, averages, individual component labeling of ingredients or labeling of standard menu offerings; and others.
