Bill:CT HB 5566 - Would restrict sale of certain beverages in school
Summary:Would make minor revisions to the education statutes. Would permit at schools to sell only the following beverages to students from any source (including school stores, vending machines, school cafeterias, and any fund-raising activities on school premises, whether or not school sponsored): (1) Milk Low-fat milk or skimmed milk that may be flavored but contain contains no artificial sweeteners, nonnutritive sweetening agents, sugar alcohols, added sodium and no more than four grams of sugar per ounce, (2) n
