Bill:MS HB 1078 - Limits SNAP benefit purchases
Summary:Would direct the Mississippi Department of Human Services to seek federal waivers necessary to allow the Department to encourage a healthy diet for recipients of SNAP benefits by limiting the purchase of foods and beverages that are low in nutrients and foods that contribute to diseases such as heart disease and diabetes.
